TAX-ME-BABY Privacy Policy

TAX-ME-BABY is operated by Qilled by the Galaxy LLC, a New York limited liability company doing business as "Killed by the Galaxy" ("KBTG", "we", "us"). Your privacy is not just important to us — it is the foundation of this app.

1. Local-only storage

All data you enter into TAX-ME-BABY is stored exclusively on your device. Your personal information, tax data, Social Security Number, signatures, and all other sensitive data never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share a file, or you enable a cloud AI feature (see Section 6).

2. No data collection

We do not collect, transmit, or store any user data on external servers we operate. There are no analytics services, no crash reporting that includes personal data, and no telemetry of any kind.

3. No tracking or advertising

TAX-ME-BABY contains zero tracking pixels, advertising SDKs, or third-party analytics. We do not build user profiles. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data in any way.

4. Encryption

All sensitive data stored on your device is encrypted using AES-256 encryption. Your vault is protected by a PIN that you create, and optionally by biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition).

5. Biometric authentication

If you enable biometric authentication, your biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system. TAX-ME-BABY never accesses, stores, or transmits biometric data directly.

6. AI features (optional)

TAX-ME-BABY can run AI fully on-device using an optional downloadable model — in that mode, nothing leaves your device. Alternatively, if you enable a cloud AI feature using an API key you configure, the text of your message or uploaded document is sent — encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), directly from your device to the AI provider you chose (such as Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or xAI Grok), with no intermediary server of ours. Unambiguous identifiers (SSN, EIN, phone, email) are tokenized before transmission, but other content — including names, addresses, and figures — may be included in the request. We never store or relay this data ourselves. For maximum privacy, use the on-device model instead of a cloud provider.

7. Data export and deletion

You can export an encrypted backup of your data at any time. You can also delete all data from within the app's settings. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

8. Uninstallation

If you uninstall TAX-ME-BABY, all app data stored on your device is permanently deleted by the operating system.

9. Not a tax service

TAX-ME-BABY is a form-filling assistant and productivity tool. It is not a tax preparation service, and no tax return data is filed or transmitted to the IRS or any tax authority through this app. It does not provide professional tax, legal, or financial advice; all calculations are estimates — verify before filing.
